As one of the functional organizations of foreign affairs in Yancheng Institute of Technology, International Exchange and Cooperation Department (IECD) is in charge of implementing national foreign policies and handling foreign affairs of the university. The functions of the ICEO are: Management, Instruction, Coordination and Service.

     The major tasks of IECD include: planning, coordinating and arranging visiting of foreign delegation groups, contacting and arranging trips of University delegation groups, visa applications for both students and staff of the University, recruiting and management of foreign experts and teaching staff, communications and cooperating with foreign friendship universities and organizations in accordance with the requirements of the University development.
