I.About YIT
Founded in 1958, Yancheng Institute of Technology（YIT) is a full-time public university in Jiangsu Province. It has two campuses both located in Yancheng city, an open coastal city renowned as“oriental wetland inhabited by red-crowned cranes and milu deer”. YIT has 18 schools and faculties,76undergraduate programs, and has more than 23,000 full-time undergraduates,735 postgraduatesrecruited from 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country. YIThas 1600 plus staff with 1300 faculty members,among whom, 700 are full and associate professors or similar academic titles, more than 500 have or are pursuing doctorate degrees, 272are postgraduate supervisors.
YIT has partnerships with more than 30 universities from the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, Australia, Poland, Sweden, Japan, Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Malaysia and Taiwan China and so on, conducting credits recognition and joint master degree programs,and alsorunning three Sino-foreign cooperative education programs approved by the Ministry of Education with the University of Greenwich and the University of Detroit Mercy.
B. Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must
1. Be non-Chinese citizens in physical and mental health.
2. Have a good level of English or Chinese.
3.Be a high school graduateor abovewith good performance aged between 18 and 25.
Please note: Applicants who are former Chinese citizens and have acquired foreign citizenship will be subject to relevant national regulations

After successful registration, applicants shall fill in Application Form for International Students online in Chinese or English and submit the following documents as required:
(1). ApplicationForm
(2). Scholarship Application Form
(3). Most Advanced Diploma (with an official seal)
(4). Most Advanced Transcripts (with an official seal)
(5).University Entrance Transcript（If any）
Please note: Original Documents mentioned above (Item 3-5) in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
(6).The bio page of valid passport (The passport is valid for at least 18 months, otherwise it will not be accepted)
(7).The most recent Chinese Visa or Chinese Residence Permit（If any）
Please note: Consequences of concealing the experience in China are borne by the applicants themselves.
(8).Certificate of bank savings（at least $5000）
(9). Health Insurance Application Form
(10). Foreigner Physical Examination Form(This form is uniformly printed by the Health and Quarantine Department of China and shall be filled in English. All applicants shall do physical examination for each item according to the relevant requirements. The form will be invalid with incomplete items, no photo, no official stamp or signature of physicians.)
(11).Proof of Language Proficiency. For degreeprogram, Chinese language proficiency test (HSK) report (Level 4 or above) must be provided.

E. Admission
1. Application is available from April 1stto June 30thevery year. YIT will select and recruit outstanding applicants before July 1stand deliver Admission Letter to qualified applicants. There is no further notice if you are not admitted.
2.Applicants who are admitted to the undergraduate programs taught in Chinese will take a HSK test held by YIT upon their arrival. Those who fails will not get registration. Please prepare for the test before coming to YIT.
3.Those who fail to pay all the fees on time will not be granted the residence permit.
