The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, formerly known as the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, was established in January 2003 with three undergraduate programs: Chinese Language and Literature, Tourism Management and Hotel Management. The college has 41 faculty members, including 6 professors, 20 associate professors, 23 doctors (including students), 2 outstanding young and middle-aged backbone teachers and 5 outstanding teachers. Currently there are 1342 undergraduate students enrolled.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences has advertising design training room, advertising production training room, secretary comprehensive training room, tour guide simulation training room, Chinese food training room, Western food training room, guest room training room, physique training room. Laboratory is a place for practice teaching, and also a basic platform for teachers to experiment and refine practical technology. The Department of Chinese language and Tourism are members of the National Association of Secretaries of Higher Education and the National Association of Tourism Education. Each major student mostly can obtain the relevant secretary qualification certificate, tour guide qualification certificate, and other professional skills certificate. In recent years, more than 20 students are admitted to master's degree programs, civil servants and village officials every year.
